The banquet will be for the benefit of the softball team of the church. A ham dinner will be served which will be followed by an evening of entertainment including a film of the all-star game of 1957 and a guest speaker who is a scout for the L. A. Dodgers. Reservations for the dinner may be made with Mrs. Robert Jones at JAckson 7-5833 not later than Monday, June 16. Anaheim Savings And Loan Has Its 37th Anniversary The Anaheim Savings and Loan Association announces this week that it is celebrating its 37th anniversary as an Anaheim financial institution. The company was founded June 20, 1921. Its statement of condition as of March 31, 1958 showed nearly 16 million dollars in savings accounts. Santa Ana College Prepares for Fall Assurances of further expansion in enrollment at Santa Ana College next fall today brought announcement of streamlined and simplified registration procedures to expedite handling of the bumper crop of collegians. Dean of Instruction O. Carl Schulz said that fall counseling and registration staffs will be on duty in August to care for returning and new students. Those students who have preregistered this spring may return the week of August 4 to complete the registration and will not need to be present on general registration days, Sept. 3 and 4. Those counselled in August may finish their registration at that time. There are five languages in official use at the United Nations conferences — English, French, Spanish, Russian, and Chinese. Ulvestad, and Eldon Stark. J. Bernard Soto is manager of the association. The Gazette joins with other Anaheim business and professional groups this week to congratulate the Anaheim Savings and Loan Association for its 37 years of continuous service to the people of this area.
