A Buffet Supper
A buffet supper will be served from 11 p.m. until 1 a.m. with Arnold's Farm House catering the meal. Breakfast will be served at 5 a.m. with members of the committees working to put this dance across, preparing and serving the meal. Soft drinks will be served throughout the night, free to the youngsters. The stunts have been planned at various intervals throughout the dance time and prizes will be awarded. Mrs. Sam Loard is responsible for obtaining all prizes.
Other committee chairmen are: Food, Mr. and Mrs. John Wentz; entertainment, which included the orchestras, Mrs. John Brooks; ticket chairman, Mrs. William Ziedlik; publicity chairman, Mrs. Nicholas Freck and Mrs. Royal Marten, and Mrs. Ivan Mahaffie is in charge of obtaining the chaperons, who will be chosen from among the members responsible for the event.
The climax of the dance will be the awarding of an excellent used car to some guest, obtained through the hard work of Ben Shroeder, a member of the school board. The youngster won't be allowed to drive the car home until permission has been received from his parents. This precaution is being taken because of the insurance angle and other pertinent prerequisites.
One rule has been set down and will be rigidly enforced during the whole night. If any youngster leaves the dance, he must sign out and will not be allowed to return to the gym.
