LEGAL NOTICE LEGAL NOTICE (Pub. Anaheim Gazette June 5 and 12, 1958.) ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Notice is hereby given that the Board of Trustees of the Magnolia School District of Orange County, California, will receive General Contract Bids for furnishing all required labor, materials, transportation and services for construction of a District Administration Building including Miscellaneous Site Work at 2705 West Orange Avenue, Anaheim, California. Each bid is to be in accordance with plans, specifications and other contract documents prepared by Frick and Frick, Architects, 340 North Altadena-Drive, Pasadena, California, where they may be examined and copies obtained upon the deposit of $15.00 which deposit will be refunded upon the return of such copies within 3 days after the bids are opened. Plans also on file with the Clerk of the Board of the above mentioned District. Pursuant to the statutes of the State of California, the Board of Trustees of the said School District has ascertained the general prevailing rate of per diem wage and rates for legal holiday and overtime work for each workman needed to execute the contract which will be awarded to the successful bidder. The rates of legal holiday wages for each of the various classes of work shall be two times the prevailing hourly rates. Legal holidays as herein referred to shall be deemed to be all Naturdays, Sundays, January First, February Twenty-second, May Thirtieth, July Fourth, Labor Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day and December Twenty-fifth. It shall be mandatory upon the contractor to whom the contract is awarded and upon any subcontractor under him to pay not less than the said specified rates to all workers employed by them in the execution of the contract or to the current accepted rate. Each bid shall be made out on a form to be obtained at the office of the Architects, 340 North Attadena Drive, Pasadena, California; shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or bid bond for five per cent (5%) of the amount of the bid, made payable to the order of the Board of Trustees of the Magnolia School District of Orange County, California; shall be sealed in an envelope marked (on the face of the envelope) "RID" and shall state the kind of work the bid covers, and this must be filed with a representative of said Board of Trustees or of before Friday, June 27, 1958, at 2:00 P.M. at the District Superintendent's Office, 9151 Dale Avenue, Anaheim, California.
