ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Trustees of the Magnolia School District of Orange County, California will receive General Contract Bids for furnishing all required labor, materials, transportation and services for construction of an addition to the Mattie Lou Maxwell School building and interiors of numerous rooms and site development at Orange and Magnolia, Anaheim, California.
Each bid is to be in accordance with plans, specifications and other contract documents prepared by Frick and Frick, Architects, 640 North Altadena Drive, Pasadena, California, where the stay may be examined and copies obtained upon the deposit of $15.00 which deposit will be refunded upon the return of such copies within 5 days after the bids are opened. Plans also on file with the Clerk of the Board of the above mentioned District, at 971 Dale Avenue, Anaheim, California.
Pursuant to the statutes of the State of California, The Board of Trustees of the said School District has accepted the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and rates for legal holiday and overtime work for each workman needed to execute the contract which will be awarded to the successful bidder. The prevailing rates so determined are as follows:
