Rozzoni, president of the California Farm Bureau Federation, recently said that, being an undying champion of the free enterprise system, the farmer recognizes this as the only workable method for success in our economic structure. "The farmer's place in our economy is shoulder to shoulder with business, labor, industry and the professions, doing his part in planning a future which will be acceptable to all of us," Mr. Rozzoni stated. Pointing to the changes in farming during the past generation, the Farm Bureau president said that the traditional division between town and farm has disappeared. Today the farmer is found, along with his city cousin, in chambers of common organizations and a type of civic activity. LAW IN ACTION HEIRS You have two main kinds of wills: The kind usually drawn by a lawyer and witnessed by at least two disinterested persons, and the "holographic" will which you write, date, and sign all in your own handwriting without witnesses. Then there is the "nuncupative" will—the will spoken and limited to $1,000—which a serviceman in combat during war may make in the immediate expectation of death. All are equally lawful, but not equally effective in practice. Do-it-yourself wills often fall short for lack of the maker's knowledge. If you still want a holographic will you may well have a lawyer look it over, to play safe. For he will know some of their pitfalls. One common pitfall found her to share your es your other children.
