At this appearance, before tens of thousands of TV viewers, the Bellflower boys and girls will be sporting their dazzling new uniforms of rouge-blush (pink) suits with white and navy blue trim and shako hats. Winners of over 100 awards this year, the Bellflower group is directed by Jeanne Staudigel and led by majorette Pat Simpson and stunt girl Diane Sallee. Rospaw made a checkup of various offices to be filled in both state and county. The Placentia Courier editor writes as follows: "With Sen. Wm. F. Knowland coming out as a candidate for Governor and Gov. Goodwin Knight declaring he will run for US Senate there will be a string of other state offices to be filled, to add to the political scene. "Many of the Orange County offices are up for election, and for the first time several Superior court judges and those now in Municipal courts will have to run for re-election. In the court house those who will be up for balloting includes: Assessor Hugh Plumb of Santa Ana ($14,000), County Clerk Lynn Wallace of Orange ($12,000), Public Administrator and Coroner Earl Abbey ($10,800), County Recorder Ruby McFarland of Garden Grove ($10,800), Sheriff James Musick of Santa Ana ($14,400), Superintendent of Schools Linton Simmons of Anaheim ($14,500) Treasurer Ivan Swanger of Orange ($10,800), Tax Collector Don S.
