Start early—a week or more ahead—and get your Holiday dinners prepared in advance! It's a cinch... with Kaiser foil and the simple instructions given below! Make up your meals now—then enjoy the Holiday with the rest of your family. A KAISER FOIL GONDOLA FOR ROASTING MEANS TENDER, JUICY DELICIOUS TURKEY It's easy to form this shallow boat land "tent." No. 3) of strong, "quilted" Broiler Foil. A Gondola catches drippings, keeps roasting pan clean and leaves surfaces of bird exposed—the real way to roast. 1. Set bird on sheet of foil twice its length; press up foil along sides. 2. Press up foil of each end. Bring corners together; fold twice for firm seal. (Makes "handler" ends—a help for lifting.) Tuck foil sides down so that height of Gondola is less than half the height of the bird. 3. No overhawning with a "tent" of Broiler Foil—easier than cloth dipped in melted fat. Create down center of a strip of foil the length of bird. Partly unfold to form a "tent" over top and legs of bird. 4. When bird is done, shape spout at one end of Gondola; pour off drippings into large measuring cup. Fat rises to top—easy to pour off. Now—accurate measure of pan juices for gravy-making. HOW TO DO IT ANEAD WITH KAISER BROILER FOIL Turkey and Gravy Day before dinner, roast unstuffed turkey in Broiler Foil Gondola, in slow oven, 325°F. Acid-cording to standard roasting chart, allowing 20 minutes per pound. When done, cool at room temperature for 1 hour. Wrap completely in Kaiser foil and refrigerate immediately. Gravy can now be made from drippings in Gondola. When cool, cover with foil and refrigerate. Turkey need only be reheated following day to serve. Unwrap it, leaving bird in Foil Gondola. Place in roasting pan; reheat in a 350°F. oven. (A 12 pound bird takes about 1½ hours.) Bressing Day before, measure ingredients; keep refrigerated in foil wraps.
