Savings Bonds Now Fit Even the Sm
This month the Treasury starts issuing Savings Bonds in a new, more convenient form. These new punch-card Bonds are about the size of a government check. They will save money for taxpayers, help issuing agents and firms economize and be more convenient for Bond owners.
From now on, every Series E Savings Bond you buy will be smaller and easier to keep in your safety deposit box. They’ll be easier and more economical, too, for many employers to issue through the Payroll Savings Plan.
If your employer does not provide the Payroll Savings Plan, why not call this to his attention? If he does, why not sign up?
You’ll find the Payroll Savings Plan the easiest way to save you’ve ever discovered. You simply sign the authorization card in the payroll office. Sign for any amount you like. Then, every payday, that amount is saved for you—automatically. When there’s enough, a Bond is issued in your name.
Part of every American's savings belongs in U.S. Savings Bonds!
The U.S. Government does not pay for this advertisement. The Treasury Department thanks for their patriotic spirit, the Advertising Council and
