In the Matter of the Estate of UMBERTO ROVERE, also known as BERT ROVERE, and as G. ROVERE, Decensed.
Notice is hereby given that the undersigned will sell at Private sale, to the highest and best bidder, subject to confirmation of said Superior Court, on or after the 18th day of September, 1957, at the Trust Department of the Bank of America National Trust and Savings Association, 650 South Spring Street, in the City of and County of Los Angeles, State of California, all the right, title and interest of said deceased at the time of death and all the right, title and interest that the estate of said deceased has acquired by operation of law or otherwise, other than or in addition to that of said deceased, at the time of death, in and to all the certain real property situated in the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California, particularly described as follows, to wit:
An undivided ½ interest in and to two vacant lots in Balbon, legally described as Lots II and I4. Block 6 of the Balbon Trace, as per Map recorded in Book 4, Page 11 of Miscellaneous Maps in the office of the County Recorder of said County.
Terms of sale cash in lawful money of the United States on confirmation of sale. Ten per cent of amount bid to be deposited with bid.
Bids or offers to be in writing and will be received at the aforesaid office.
He was a member of the Methodist Church in Arkansas.
Funeral services will be conducted from Hilgenfeld Chapel Tuesday morning, Sept. 3, at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Loma Vista Memorial Park.
Theron Ray Jackman Claimed by Death
Theron Ray Jackman, five-months oyw son of Mr. and Mrs. Theron Ray Jackman of 1327 Hempstead St., this city, died in Childrens Hospital in Los Angeles.
Other than his parents, he leaves a sister, Leslie Joan Jackman; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Francis A. Jackman of Salt Lake City; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Bredthauer of Grand Island, Neb.
Funeral services will be conducted from St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with the Rev. H. Schmitt officiating. Interment will be in Melrose Abbey Memorial Park Cemetery. Hilgenfeld Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
LEAVES VANDERMASTS
Carl Stein, well known in Anaheim, has tendered his reservation from Vandermast's M Store in Santa Ana where he been employed for the past years. In 1929, when the incorporated and enlarged operation, he was taken into firm as secretary-treasurer general manager. Upon a visit trip to the north area, Stein will return to Orange City, at which time he will no longer an important announcement.

Alfred Terry Passes Away on Wednesday
Alfred Terry, a native of West Virginia who has lived at 225 Alta Street, Placentia for 12 years, died early Wednesday morning at the age of 77 years at the Orange County General Hospital after a prolonged illness.
He is survived by his wife, Nora Ann Terry; three sons, Raymond E. Terry of Mo., Thomas "Tommy" L. Terry of Placentia and Paul Terry of Garden Grove; one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Jean Coggin of Ark.; two brothers, Guss and Claude Terry, both of Ark.; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

VES VANDERMASTS
Earl Stein, well known in Anaheim, has tendered his resignation from Vandermast's Men's Club in Santa Ana where he has been employed for the past 32 years. In 1929, when the store corporation and enlarged their operation, he was taken into the office as secretary-treasurer and general manager. Upon a vacancy trip to the north area, Mr. Stein will return to Orange County at which time he will make an important announcement.
Alfred R. Nelson Called by Death
Alfred R. Nelson, a native of this state, passed away at his home at 9872 Sequoia Street, this city, last Friday after a brief illness. He was 57 years of age and had made his home here for the past nine years.
The deceased is survived by his wife, Eunice Nelson of the home; one son, Alfred B. Nelson of Santa Monica; his father, Axel Nelson of Riverside, and one sister, Mrs. Clara Raab of Riverside.
Private funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock in the chapel of Backs, Campbell and Kaulbars Mortuary with interment in Fairhaven cemetery.

Receiving indoctrination at the U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, Md., in advance of the regular academic year are Alen Hutchens, son of Navy Cdr. (Ret.) and Mrs. W. E. Hutchens of 9742 E. Orange Ave., Anaheim, a graduate of Anaheim Union High School, who entered the Academy on a Presidential appointment, and Gus L. Keolanui, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Bittenbendea of 12292 Orangewood, Anaheim, a graduate of Long Beach Polytechnic High School, Long Beach, Calif., who entered the Academy on a Congressional appointment. Members of the fourth, or "plebe" class, will begin regular classes Sept. 5, and are scheduled to graduate in 1961.
Mrs. Rosa Francis Claimed by Death
Mrs. Rosa Francis, Annapolis resident for two years, passed away last Sunday in a resting place in La Habra after an extended illness. She was a native of anon, 83 years of age and nowhere at 313 E. Alberta Street. She was a member of St. face Catholic Church.
Surviving are two sons, Francis of El Paso, Tex.; Leo Francis of Washington daughters; Miss Maria F.; and Mrs. Corrinne Shaw of heim; 13 grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The remains were shipped Poteau, Okla., for interment backs, Campbell and Kaulbars Mortuary were in charge of arrangements.
