Broadway, Anaheim, and a student at the University of Southern California. He is on a summer training cruise to South America, Panama, and the Caribbean Sea. More than 2,000 Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps midshipmen from 38 colleges and universities are on the six-week cruise, receiving on-the-job training in navigation, seamanship, engineering, and gunnery. The 11 ships of the summer's second midshipman training group left Norfolk, Va., June 19.
