Jones of Lauguna Beach became chairman of the medical advisory committee for Orange County Chapter, National Foundation for Infantile Paralysis, on Aug. 1. Dr. Jones succeeds Dr. Ray F. Chittenden of Newport Beach, who has resigned as chairman after heading the five-man committee since it was organized more than a year ago. Dr. Chittenden will remain on the committee. Other members of the group, which holds monthly meetings to advise the NFIP chapter regarding medical and surgical requirments of polio patients, and to screen applications for such care, include Dr. Edward L. Russell, county health officer; Dr. David Geddes of Santa Ana and Dr. E. H. Thomassen of Newport Beach. The new chairman, Dr. Jones has been in medical practice in the county the past two years.
