the Pico House, Los Angeles, has been leased by Mrs. W. R. Olden and those desiring pleasant quiet rooms will find this house just to their taste.
The Bank of Anaheim has purchased a lot 20 foot front on Center street, adjoining the brick building now being erected, and will begin construction of a bank building as soon as the plans can be made. It is proposed to build a highly ornamental building 20x40 feet, the front to be a mass of elaborate fancy woodwork. The interior will be in keeping and in fact the building will be all that good, taste and plenty of money can make it. It is now probable that the entire block opposite the Planters hotel will be built up.

Local Women In "Personality" Class at Fullerton
A number of local women are enrolled in the Fullerton Adult Education class of "Personality and Appearance": The class was started two years ago with one class period and interest has grown to such an extent that six classes are now being held with the interest still growing.
The objectives of these classes are to gain poise and confidence through modeling and to learn about oneself from many sides, hair, skin, fashions, diet and exercise, voice and conversation, etiquette, rest and energy, and self organization.
Pauline Jessen, the instructor, has been more than pleased with the individual improvements in her students. The course is offered on a one-semester plan, but may be taken four semesters.
During this summer, Mrs. Jesen is beginning something new in this area: private classes for teenagers as well as adults. This private instruction will start July 8 at Fullerton Assistance League. Adult classes will be held from 3:30 to 5 p.m., and from 7 to 8:30 in the evening. The teenagers class will be from 6 to 7 p.m., and since there will be only one class for this age group, the class will be limited from the 8th through 10th grades.
The first meeting on July 8 is open to guests and the special classes will run for six weeks.
