The Bishop and his wife are stopping at the Planters Hotel and Mr. Linls at the Parsonaage. We understand that Rev. Mr. Loop of comona is expected today. Services at St. Michael's Episcopal church will begin at a quarter of eight in the evening. The Bishop will preach and there will be a celebration of the Holy Communion.
Messrs F. A. Korn and D.W.C.owan are each candidates for the office of school trustee. Theils will be open at the school use today from one hour after晨rise to until sunset.
The enterprising people of orba district want a new school use on the north side of the ter and are to vote on the question of issuing bonds in the amount of $2,000.
The Santa Ana Standard of 17 week had a very good report the fruit growers meeting at range at which insect pests and the best way to exterminate them was discussed.
The will of the late Isaac Landshim has been filed for prosecution. The estate is valued at 10,000 and the executors are Isis Lankershim, his son, James, I. N. Van Nuys. The property left equally to his wife, son.

There are now 51,000 gallons of brandy stored in the bonded warehouse in Los Angeles. The internal revenue tax is 90 cents per gallon so that the brandy now stored there will swell the U.S. treasury to the amount of $45,900.
The Marysville Appeal claims that a drayman of that city owns the identical woolly horse which Fremont rode to California in 1847, the animal now being thirty-eight years old.
Mr. Jacob Wintters and Mr. J. P. Zeyn have each purchased 40 acres of the Miles tract in North Anaheim.
50 Years Ago... June, 1907
It required but a few minutes for a meeting of citizens at the city hall on Wednesday evening to determine that a rousing celebration at the city's fiftieth anniversary should be held in September. Addresses were made by Richard Melrose, H. A. Dickel, Prof. Walker, Herman Stern, Wm. Schumacher, Fred Ahlborn, Wm. Wickett, Henry Adams and others. Pledges of financial assistance and cordial support were made and a subscription list started Richard Melrose was selected as the president of the celebration committee and accepted the honor or in a will-worded address which sent enthusiasm through everyone present. The Gallagher's Note 25th Wedding Anniversary Tues.
More than 150 guests honored Mr. and Mrs. Stephen S. Gallagher on their 25th wedding anniversary last Tuesday evening with a garden party at the Gallagher home at 328 N. West Street, this city. A lovely buffet supper was enjoyed, the table being centered with a large wedding cake. The honorees received many lovely gifts of silver and numerous floral pieces.
Mrs. Gallagher wore a beaded grey and blue lace dress with a white orchid corsage. Miss Louise Gallagher, daughter, who assisted with the party, was gowned in pink and white chiffon with which she wore a corsage of pink roses. Mr. Gallagher and their three sons Edward, John and Bob, in dark suits, wore carnation boutonnieres.
Mr. and Mrs. Gallagher were married in Anaheim in 1932 at St. Beniface Catholic Church and have resided in Anaheim continuously. Mr. Gallagher being an attorney here for 26 years. He is a native of Minneapolis, Minn., and Mrs. Gallagher came to Anaheim in 1917 from her home state, Nebraska.
Arthur Bradley of Santa Ana was best man at the wedding and Mrs. Phil Bastain of Anaheim, sister of Mrs. Gallagher, maid of honor, were in attendance to help celebrate the memorable occasion. Assisting with the hostess was Mrs. Bastian who wore
Ikes to Install Officers July 1
The installation of officiates night for members July 11 instead of the weekly meeting night when on July 4. The affair will dinner meeting to convene at the regular meeting at the Youth Center on E. N. Avenue.
Announcement is also made that fireworks booth will be cated at Allison's Market Los Angeles Street this year urge all their friends patronizing this money event.

Mary Ellen Dougherty heim, who attended U.S. of California, Santa Bar among the 58 students in high honors in academics She won the honor in her classes for the four seals To earn these honors, she must average between a B-plus over-all grade Each student will receive a scroll in recognition of the scholastic attainment.

The will of the late Isaac Lanshim has been filed for prosecution. The estate is valued at 10,000 and the executors are his Lankershim, his son James, and I. N. Van Nuys. The property left equally to his wife, son Jones and daughter Susanna.
A 198 foot well just completed Mr. L. J. Rose's ranch in San Joaquin Valley, is said to flow 10,000 gallons of water per day. It is one of twenty-three wells in the same ranch. All of which had a large supply of water.
The Memorial Bell
While assisting in the decoration of St. Michael's Episcopal church last September, Charles Balch accidentally cut a deep hole in his wrist, severing an arm. He died from the effects few days later. His father, a resident of Boston, has presented church with a Memorial bell, which was received on Thursday. It weighs 1320 pounds, the size of the church will have to strengthenened to sustain it. Its tones will probably not heard for a week or two. It is made of pure bell metal, and it judged it will be very sweeted. The inscription on the bell reads:

Mr. J. P. Zeyn has returned to a trip through Napa and Soma Counties. As far as hiservation extended the grape crop will be very good in these cities. The grain crop does look any better than it does.

Fayette Lewis has taken a position with Yungbluth & Kroeger during his vacation from Berkeley which will extend until the middle of August. Fayette is a sophomore at the university and will play shortstop with the next season's varsity nine for which position he has already qualified. He is studying law and will devote six years to the task before him at the University.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred T. Rimpau are here from Fairbanks, A. T., visiting with Mr. and Mrs. A. Rimpau. They will remain several weeks.
Mrs. Frank Borth was awarded the prize of $20 offered by Druggist Mullinix for the first correct sentence formed out of letters displayed one at a time in his show windows. The sentence read: "Take your prescriptions to O. A. Mullinix." Samuel Oxavart was a close second bringing in his sentence a few seconds after Mrs. Broth had been declared winner.

Edward Gallagher is at home from Marquette Medical School in Milwaukee for the summer. John will be a sophmore at Loyola University and Bob is a senior at Mater Del High School in Santa Ana. Miss Louise graduated from SC this spring.
The Migratory Bird Conservation Commission authorized the addition of 3540 acres to the Salton Sea National Wild Life Refuge.
Frost and birds caused an estimated 35 per cent damage to the apricot crop at Hemet.

Frank Tausch, Carl Pressel, August Schumacher, Billy Kritschmer, Herman Backs and Herman Schindler went to Santa Ana canyon on Sunday and enjoyed a Dutch Pot. This is a dainty dish evolved in a pot buried under coals. In the pot are yellow legged chickens, potatoes, etc. The boys tell us they purchased the chickens of which there were an even dozen.
Joseph Helmsen is decorating the interior of his store in a very handsome manner. The walls are papered in light blue. The ceiling has paper of a creamy tint and the interior is being painted, counters varnished and floor oil-ed. A new plate glass front has been installed and the establishment is one of the handsomest in town.
Adolf Thomas spent Sunday with his family in Los Angeles, returning Monday morning. He has purchased the Chynoweth property on North Los Angeles street and will move his family here and take up his permanent residence.
O. Lagman, W. H. Spake, J. Resh, H. Speilman and other members of the Masonic Lodge attended a meeting of the Royal Arch Chapter at Fullerton on Tuesday evening. C. C. Chapman, E. K. Benchley and Tom Siege were initiated.
Mrs. I. Barman and Mrs. D. W. Harding of Los Angeles were guests the past week of Mr. and Mrs. Morris Smith of Orange-thorpe.

Ikes to Install Officers July 11
