STUFFED OLIVE BUNBURGERS (Makes 6 servings) % cup (small can) undiluted evaporated milk 1 egg 1¼ pounds ground beef ½ cup fine cracker crumbs 1½ teaspoons salt ¼ teaspoon pepper 1 teaspoon dry mustard ¼ cup finely chopped onion ¼ cup finely chopped green pepper ¼ cup chopped pimiento-stuffed green olives 6 hamburger buns, split in half Combine evaporated milk, egg, beef, cracker crumbs, salt, pepper, mustard, onion, green pepper and olives. Blend together until well-mixed. Form meat mixture into 12 thin patties (about ½ cup each.) Place each patty on hamburger bun half, covering completely. Place Bunburgers on broiler pan. Broil 5-7 inches from heat for 5 to 7 minutes (or to taste). HERBED CHEESE MEAT LOAF (Makes 6 servings) % cup (small can) undiluted evaporated milk 1 egg 1½ lbs. ground beef ½ cup fine cracker crumbs 1½ teaspoons salt ¼ teaspoon pepper 1 teaspoon dry mustard ¼ cup finely chopped celery ¼ cup finely chopped onion ¼ cup catsup 2 slices processed Swiss cheese 1 teaspoon chopped chives 1 teaspoon chopped parsley Market Basket Meat and Fish COMPARE OUR TRIM! Top with cheese and sprinkle with chives and parley. Slice. STRAWBERRY LEMON PIE (Makes 1 9-inch pie) 1 egg, slightly beaten ¼ cup sugar ¼ cup lemon juice 2 teaspoons grated lemon rind 2 tablespoons melted butter 1 9-inch unbaked pastry shell ¾ cup sugar 2½ cups whipped instant nonfat dry milk* 1 pint fresh strawberries, sliced Combine eggs, ⅓ cup sugar, lemon juice, lemon rind and butter; mix well. Turn into pastry shell. Bake in slow oven (325°) 1 hour, or until lightly browned. Cool. Add ⅓ cup sugar to whipped instant dry milk. Arrange strawberries and sweetened whipped instant dry milk over lemon mixture. Garnish with additional strawberries, if desired. Serve at once. *To whip instant nonfat dry milk (makes about 2½ cups). Mix ½ cup instant nonfat dry milk with ½ cup ice water. Whip until soft peaks form (3-4 minutes). Add 2 tablespoons lemon juice.
