P Meeting in Yorba Linda May 23 More than 125 Republican members and their guests will be in Yorba Linda Thurday, May 23, to hear Al Bell, chairman of the Republican Stateional Committee in a report recent party conferences in Washington, D.C. and Salt Lake City. Bell met with Meade Alcorn, Chairman of the National Republican Party and other leaders from the 48 states in the capital. Alcorn presided over the Salt Lake meeting of western regional representatives. Bell's talk May 23 will be on "Party Responsibility and the Key To Victory in 1958." Mrs. Mildred (G. Hoyt) Corbit, president of Yorba Linda's Republican Women and chairman of the dinner program, said it will begin promptly at 7:30 in the Social Hall of the Friends Church, Yorba Linda. Ladies of the Friends are in charge of the dinner, with Mrs. Louise (J. L.) Allbee directing. Mrs. Lola (O. R.) Edmondson is assisting Mrs. Corbit with plans.
