CANDY WHIPPED CREAM PIE 16 marshmallows, quartered ½ cup milk 3 Clark bars, finely chopped 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 cup whipping cream, whipped Crust: 1¼ cups finely crushed vanilla water crumbs ½ cup melted butter Combine marshmallows and milk in top of double boiler. Heat over boiling water until marshmallows are melted. Cool. Fold in candy, vanilla and whipped cream. Pour into crumb crust. Chill thoroughly. Garnish with sweetened whipped cream and coarsely chopped candy. To make crust combine ingredients and press onto bottom and sides of buttered pie pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 5-8 minutes. Cool. Cut into squares and serve topped with almond candy ice cream. 2 - Anahelm Gazette Anahhelm, Calif., Thurs., Apr. 18, 1957 PINEAPPLE UPSIDE-DOWN HAM LOAF 1 pound ground smoked ham ¼ pound ground lean pork ½ pound ground veal 2 eggs, slightly beaten 1 cup milk 4 cups corn flakes ½ teaspoons finely chopped green pepper 1½ tablespoons flour ¼ cup brown sugar ¼ teaspoon ground cloves ¾ cup drained crushed pineapple Combine flour, brown sugar and cloves. Mix with pineapple. Spread over bottom of greased 9½x5¼ inch loaf pan. Combine remaining ingredients; pack lightly in pan over pineapple mixture. Bake in moderate oven (350°F.) about 1 hour. Turn loaf upside down onto heated serving platter. Yield: 8-10 servings.
