Anderson and Bernice Anderson as defendants for the sum of $461.08 harmful money of the United States, hereditary events and interest, etc., on the first day of May, 1956.

Several Homemakers Clubs of this area will hold their regular study meetings during the month of March. The subject for study during the month will be "Let's Go Shopping for Food". American families spend from 25 to 40 per cent of their income on food, which means that the average American family's expenditure for food is $30 a week.
These meetings of homemakers Clubs in all parts of the county will teach food shopping methods in order to help families make better use of this large sum of money.
Last evening, Wednesday, the Anaheim Evening Homemakers club met at the home of Mrs. Guy DeWolf at 9892 Caplan St. Anaheim. The project leaders were Mrs. Paul Paddock and Mrs. De Wolf.
Tuesday, Mar. 26. Anaheim Women of the Farm Bureau will visit the Carl Harvey School during the morning hours, and then go to the Kono Hawaiian Barbecue for lunch, after which they will hold a meeting on "Buying of Foods for a Family", the project leaders being Mrs. James Alderson and Mrs. Ben Ter Beest.
Kevin Ford Dies Unexpectedly
Kevin Ben Ford, 20 month old son of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Ford, Jr., of 1810 E. Willow St., died very unexpectedly Friday afternoon in the office of the family physician. The child had been ill for several days but it was thought that there was nothing serious.
He is survived by his parents; Mr. and Mrs. William M. Jones of Anaheim.
Funeral services were conducted at Hilgenfeld Chapel Monday at 3 p.m. Rev. E. H. Pflag, associate pastor of Zion Lutheran Church, officiated and interment was in Anaheim cemetery.
Mrs. Irene M. Hunt Taken by Death
Mrs. Irene M. Hunt, 71 years of age, passed away last Monday at Anaheim Nursing Home. She was born in Illinois and had resided in Anaheim for the past three years, the home being at 1016 Vineyard Street.
Survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Celeste Joyce of Chicago and Mrs. Gertrude Shea of Anaheim.
She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church.
Recitation of Holy Rosary was held from the chapel of Backs, Campbell and Kaulbars Mortuary Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. with Mass at St. Boniface Church this morning. Thursday, at 9 a.m. with interment in Holy Sepulchre cemetery.
Bert H. Thompson Passes Suddenly Fri.
Bert H. Thompson, 79 years of age, passed away very suddenly at his home at 1104 E. Broadway, this city, last Friday. A native of Illinois, he had resided in Anaheim for the past five years.
Surviving are his wife, Dollie M. Thompson of the home; one son, Leonard A. Thompson of Anaheim; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
The Rev. A. J. Casebeer, pastor of the First Christian Church of this city, read the last rites at Backs, Campbell and Kaulbars.

Harry T. Moennich Passes Away Friday
Harry T. Moennich, a citrus rancher near Olive since 1910, retiring in 1952, passed away at his home 523 So. Lemon Street, this city, last Friday. Born in Iowa, he was 82 years of age.
Left to mourn his passing is his wife, Clara D. Moennich of the home.
The deceased was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.
Last rites were held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Backs, Campbell and Kaulbars Mortuary chapel with the Rev. E. W. Matthias, assisted by the Rev. E. H. Pflug, pastor of Zion Lutheran Church, officiating. Interment followed in St. John's Lutheran cemetery in Santa Ana.
Gordon G. Martin, Son of Local Business Owner, Passes Tues.
Gordon G. Martin, 40, a native son who had lived in California continuously and in Anaheim for 11 years, died early Tuesday morning at St. Joseph Hospital after a brief illness.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou; three sons, Gary E., Ernest L. and Kim D. Martin and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest F. Martin of Anaheim, owners of Richards-Martin School of Dancing.
He was assistant superintendent of the Vista Furniture Company, located on North Olive St.
Funeral services will be conducted from Hilgenfeld Chapel today, Thursday, at 10 a.m. and interment will follow in Fairhaven Memorial Park.
