Here's why:
Flame needs air to breathe. A flame-heated air, exhales moist air—literally cooks meat in good juices. And what is more disappointing than its flavorful juice?
But when you cook it electrically, there's no air. Because there's no flame. You cook in moist juice stays in the meat...and it tastes better.
And electric cooking is cleaner. Keeps your and new. It's far cooler, too. Electricity puts the kitchen. It's fast and automatic. Truly, elec way to cook. See your electrical appliance deal

Ethiopian YMCA Worker to Speak At Luncheon Here
Merlin Bishop, known in Ethiopia as "Merlin the Magician", will be the speaker at a lunchon meeting Wednesday noon, Mar. 13, at the Anaheim YMCA according to an announcement by Paul Demaree, chairman of the YMCA World Service Committee.
Although Bishop does magic tricks complete with top hat and mystic wand and has given command performances at Emperor Haile Selassie's Palace, he is called a magician chiefly because the young people in Addis Ababa believe he can do practically everything. Thousands throng to the YMCA to attend Bishop's classes. He teaches metalworking with a home-made forge—wood-carving with tools ground from old auto valves—a astronomy with a telescope he constructed himself. A ventriloquist, he uses a dummy to stage health programs that pack the 'Y' and have standees outside, jamming every window. He teaches carpentry, printing, all kinds of mechanics ... and a dozen other skill-building activities that help train youth for jobs. For this work, Bishop was recently presented with the "Haile Selassie First Gold Medal". In making the award, the Emperor praised the job he is doing with youth and the effect the 'Y' is having on the country.

Bishop's program of industrial training is brand new in Ethiopia. But it is not new to Mr. Bishop. Ten years ago, before being forced out by the communist take-over, he initiated a large-scale vocational program for the Chinese 'Y' which helped meet China's need for modern craftsmen.
The luncheon next Wednesday, which is being sponsored by the 'Y' Board of Directors and the World Service Committee is open to the public, both men and women. Reservations are requested and may be made by phoning the YWCA—KE 5-2165 preferably by Monday.
Prior to the Civil War a number of camels were imported to the United States for use in transporting army supplies in the "great American desert."
