Young Men Must Register With Selective Service
Every male citizen of the United States and every other male person residing in the United States is required to register with Selective Service on attaining the eighteenth anniversary of the date of his birth, or within five days thereafter.
The penalty for evading or refusing registration is punishment by imprisonment for not more than five years, or a fine of $10,000 or both such fine and imprisonment.
Headquarters for Orange County are located at 209 Church Street, Ana Ana. Included among other pieces of registration throughout the county is at the Chamber of Commerce in Anaheim.
A birth certificate or certification of birth is necessary.

Arnold Dr., centinia, recently was sent to the 8059th Army Unit at Tokoy Army Hospital in Rios, an information clerk arrived in Japan last July and ed at Camp Chicamauga his present assignment. He left the Army in November, 1946.
Roy E. Potts, of 10601 Dr., Anaheim is scheduled toplete training May 12 at the 8059th Army Uunit Training Center, San Diego.
The graduation exercises, ing the end of nine weeks on camp" will include a full parade and review before officials and civilian dignitaries.
Jack D. Rhoades, son of Mary F. Rhoades of 6791 Ave., Anaheim, and husband the former Miss Diane L. of Pasadena, is attending Naval Pipefitter School in Naval Training Center in Diego.
Upon completion of the graduates will report to shore stations to acquire tical experience.
