Bertch, general secretary of the Anaheim YMCA, has announced five summer camping periods which will include two periods for girls and two periods for boys plus a family camp. The first period, June 19 to 26, will be for older girls of high school age. The second period, June 26 to July 3, will be for younger girls or those of junior high age. Mrs. Nan Moore, Work secretary, will direct two periods. The older boys' period, will include junior high and high school boys, will be July 3 to August 10 and the younger boys' period for elementary school boys 9 yrs old and over, will be July 24 to August 27. Steve Holden and John Beetle will serve as co-directors during these periods. A family camp will be conducted over Labor Day weekend, Saturdays from May 19 and 20 and June 2-3. Registrations will not be required on any of the periods until "S Up Days", which will be May 17 for boys and May 17 for girls. Junior high age, and May 22 senior high school girls. Both boys and girls are offered the opportunity to enjoy their way to camp by selling soils. This is a nation-wide YMCA project for helping youth to help the selves to camp. A considerable quantity of soap has been received at the Anaheim Y and those would like to earn their way to camp can get started during later vacation. "The purpose of this conference", said Carl Rau, Anaheim Board Education chairman, "is to increase the technical knowledge of the real estate man in order that he may better serve the public in buying and selling property". The conference will consist of a management seminar and a sales seminar. The management seminar is for real estate office owners and managers. The four hour workshop uses the manual prepared by the California Real Sstate Association and the University of California entitled "Real Estate Sales-personnel Policy Manual". The sales seminar is of special help to salesmen in real estatg offices and covers topics such as "Money Making Ideas", "Selling Made Easy", and "A Successful Salesman Organizes His Time." Mrs. Ropolo, instructor for the John Robert Powers Schools in Los Angeles and Sherman Oaks, holds a master's degree from College of the Pacific. Mrs. Charles Pearson and Mrs. Robert Cash served as hostess chairmen at the noon luncheon which preceded the program. Mrs. John Bovee, Jr., presided at the business session and Mrs. Emil Mittman was program chairman. Decorations were planned by Mrs. William P. Hall and Mrs. R. H. Beckler. and eggs. Officers were hosts during the social hour. Temple Beth Sholom To Dedicate Jewish Cemetery on Sunday Rabbi Phillip Rosenberg of Temple Beth Sholom in Santa Ana has announced they will formally dedicate Mount Olive Jewish Cemetery on Sunday, April 9 beginning at 11 a.m. The cemetery is located at 11822 E. Gisler in Santa Ana, west of Harbor Blvd. between Costa Mesa and Santa Ana. Mount Olive is the only Jewish cemetery in the Orange County district and also Long Beach. The dedication and tree planting will be conducted under the auspices of the Long Beach and District Board of Rabbits.
