Service Men— Pvt. Richard D. Correll, 20, son of Mrs. Inez Carpenter, 201 Florence st., Fullerton, is a member of the 40th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Brigade in Hakata, Japan. Private Correll, a cannoneer in Battery A of the 30th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Battalion, entered the Army in June 1855 and completed basic training at Fort Bliss, Tex. He arrived overseas last December. Correll attended Fullerton Union High school and was employed by Safeway Stores Inc., Anaheim. Robert M. Vinson, 30 Years in Anaheim, Passes Away Friday Robert Monroe Vincent, 71, a native of Missouri coming to California 35 years ago, living at 1735 W. La Palma st., for 30 years, died early Friday morning at the Orange County General hospital after an extended illness. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Vada Dabbs of Bakersfield; four nieces, Mrs. Lorene Yeargan of Bakersfield, Mrs. Dorothy Cowdry of Encino, Mrs. Alice Frost of Indio, and Miss Doris Lynn of Stockton; two nephews, Victor Lynn of Long Beach and Robert Lynn of Denver, Colorado. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist church of Fullerton and the pastor, Elder Ansel Bristol officiated at funeral services in Hilgenfeld chapel Tuesday at 2 o'clock. Entombment was in Loma Vista Memorial park mausoleum. Newlyweds to Establish Home In Anaheim Mar. 1 After March 1, Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Taylor will be at home at 115 La Plaza Pl. in Anaheim. They were married in the First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood by Dr. Raymond Irving Lindquist. The bridegroom is the son of the R. Davis Tailors of 10192 Ball Rd. His bride is the former Marlene Ann Bachman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Bachman of Los Angeles. For her wedding, the bride was wearing a Cahill gown of ivory satin trimmed with Alconen lace. A pearl tiara held a fingertip veil, and she carried a bouquet of butterfly-orchids and stephanotis. She was attended by her sister, Mrs. Theodore Chavannes as matron of honor, and the Misses Johanna Kaufman and Carolyn Hackamack as bridesmaids. They were gowned in powder blue taffeta and carried pink camellias. Theodore Chavannes attended the bridegroom as best man. Ushers were Brooks Treidler and Darrel Grant. The wedding reception was held at the bride's home, 2454 Glendower Ave. from where the newlyweds departed on a honeymoon at Palm Springs. Both were graduated from UCLA in January. Their wedding party was made up of former classmates. The bridegroom is a second lieutenant in the Air Force Reserve. Death Sat. Takes William M. Miller Wm. M. Miller, a resident Anaheim since 1925, passed away at his home at 401 So. Clar street, Saturday. He was born Michigan 90 years ago. Surviving are his wife, Ma Miller of Anaheim; two sons G. of Reno, and Walter A. M of Moses Lake, Wash.; two daughters Mrs. Maude M. Scott, Beach, Ore., and Mrs. Cha Reynolds of Camden, Arkansas grandchildren; four great children, and three sisters, Agnes Levie, Mrs. Clara W Mrs. Lottie Tooke, all of Cali. She was a member of the Christian church of Anaheim. Funeral services were held the chapel of Backs, Campbell Kaulbars mortuary on Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. with the Rev. Paulina street on Monday at the age of 68 years. Born in Mexico, he had resided in Anaheim since 1935. He left no survivors other than neices and nephews who are the sons and daughters of Margarita Acevedo who passed away on Saturday. Recitation of Holy Rosary was Tuesday evening at 7:30 o'clock at Backs, Campbell and Kaulbars chapel. Acevedo of 302 Ellsworth street, a native of Arizona, born 75 years ago, passed away at her home on Saturday. She had been a resident of Anaheim since 1934. Survivors are two sons, Ray of Los Angeles, and Steve of Anaheim; five daughters, Mrs. Mary Aguilar, Mrs. Ramona Duran, Mrs. Vera Guitterez, Mrs. Josephine Cazares, all of Anaheim, and Mrs. Margarita Vargas of Placentia; 17 grandchildren and eight grandchildren. She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic church.
