Lemon LINCOLN P-TA IN FIRST MEETING OF NEW SEASON The Lincoln Parent-Teacher association held its first meeting of the school year recently. It began in the coffeetorium with a social hour where Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Conway led the hospitality committee in greeting the 300 who attended. Mrs. Wm. Fricker, president, introduced Principal Chester M. Fowler who had complimented the parents for one of the largest P-TA turnouts in Lincoln history. He introduced the teachers to the group. The meeting night has been set for the year for the second Tuesday of each month, according to Mrs. Jack Polley, parliamentarian. J. K. Phipps, budget and finance head, presented budget plans for Geo. E. Trout, 34-Year Resident, Dies George E. Trout, 87, a native of Pennsylvania but a resident of Anaheim for 34 years, died early Sunday evening at the Basler Rest Home in Santa Ana after an extended illness. He is survived by two sons, Fred Trout of Colorado and George E. Trout of Los Angeles; two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Edwards of Fullerton and Mrs. Leota Smith of Oakland; nine grandchildren of which one is Mrs. Lols Van Houten of Anaheim and three great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted the year. Attendance award went to Mrs. Todd's class with Mrs. Vineyard's a close second. Members of the executive board served as hosts during the social hour when cake and coffee were served.
