School, Industry Work Together In Local Area
Cooperation between leaders in local industry and Anaheim Union High school district personnel may be evidenced by the evening Industrial Education classes started this past week.
The course content of seven such classes has been developed cooperatively by the school advisory committee of the Anaheim Area Industrial Group and the school's vocational coordinators.
Industrial Education classes started this past week include: Industrial Organization and Management; Elements of Supervision; Quality Control; Production Control; Introduction to Electronics; Machine Shop; and Welding.
Another feature of this team work is seen in the policy of awarding completion certificates to those persons satisfactorily completing these classes. Duplicates are sent to the students' employers.
Some people have faith in odd numbers—usually number one.

Let's translate these Chevrolet victories into your kind of driving.
You've got to have faster acceleration to win on the tracks. And that means safer passing on the highways. You've got to have better springing and suspension. Again, safer and happier motoring for you. You've got to have big brakes that act fast and smooth . . . and easy, accurate steering. More things that make your driving safer.
But it's more fun to try these things out than just to talk about them. So come in and let's take a ride.
The safer car wins ... and Chevrolet's the winning car
