School Official Addresses Group On 'Moral Values'
In her new home at 516 Wedgewood Dr., Mrs. Keith Murdoch entertained the Jean Circle of White Temple Methodist chuch at the September meeting. Mrs. Hershel Roberts assisted Mrs. Murdoch as hostess to initiate the new season.
Robert Shanks, assistant superintendent of education of Anaheim elementary schools addressed 23 members and their five guests on the subject, "Moral and Spiritual Values and The Public Schools." Using quotations of Albert Schweltzer and Thomas Jefferson to clarify his remarks, Shanks compared materialism and idealism in America and explained able by filling out entry blanks at Bob's. Winners will be announced during the Breakfast Newscast.

Mr. and Mrs. Luther Reynolds and children returned home the early part of the week from an extended vacation and visit with relatives and friends in New York City, and other eastern points. They also made a trip into Canada before returning to their home in this city.
Church Ball Team Feted at Dinner
Home talent provided by the Keystone class highlighted the dinner given last night for the soft ball team of the Christian church, playoff champions of the B League. Arrangements were made by Mrs. Lou Sinor.
A regular meeting of the Mens' Brotherhood is being planned for Tuesday night, Sept. 27. Mrs. Nan Moore will give an account of the Y-Teen tour of Europe for the Womens' Council meeting at a luncheon on Thursday, Oct. 6. Mrs. Paul Dominguez is in charge.
