July 21, 1955 AUTO INFLUX TO STATE SETS NEW RECORD State and Southland auto influx rocketed to a new semi-annual record, the Automobile Club of Southern California reported today. Carrying 2,055,229 passengers, 744,02 out-of-state autos entered California in the first six months of 1955. Southland influx during the same period totaled 445,740 cars with 1,170,108 passengers. The former influx record was set in 1953, when 743,199 foreign cars entered the State, with southland highways accommodating 415,832 of the total. Compared to last year, present figures show a 10 per cent increase throughout the State and a 13 per cent increase in Southern California. LEGAL NOTICES (Pub.
