ANAHEIM GAZETTE Anaheim, Calif., Thursday, July 7, 1955 Square Dances At Farm Bureau Hall Gain in Popularity The square dances held every Saturday night at the Farm Bureau hall at 1016 W. Chapman Ave., in Orange are gaining in popularity with folks from nearly every town of Orange county and far away as Pacolina in Los Angeles county. Callers with long experience in the Southern California style of square dancing are assisting to make this dance of more than usual interest. Refreshments are available throughout the evening at the snack bar under the supervision of Ralph and Vi Swoap of Brea two nights a month and Leonard and Verla Hansen of Orange the other nights. All of the dances are arranged and are under the direction of Don and Evelyn Frisbee of Yorba Linda who have taught many hundreds of folks in Orange county to square dance. All of the Saturday dances at the Farm Bureau hall are programmed at the intermediate level and everyone who square dances is invited to attend. Dancing starts at 8:30.
