Anaheim Nursery New Ball Road Business Firm Anaheim Nursery, owned and operated by Eldon and Virginia Paddock at 120 West Ball road is open and ready to serve Orange county gardeners. Designed by Architect Frank Gruys of Beverly Hills, the new firm occupies more than a half acre devoted to landscaping and nursery displays with all types of shrubs, trees and flowers. They also have large off-street parking areas. In addition to the regular nursery stock, garden tools and supplies, the new nursery will feature landscape planning by a licensed architect. They will also have available custom power spraying. Paddock, a native son who has lived in Orange county most of his life, has served as state licensed pest control operator for past 17 years. He has two college degrees in Botany and Entomology from Whittier college and the University of Southern California. He taught systematic botany in Whittier college for two years. He also attended and taught summer classes in Field Botany, covering much of southern California plant and animal life. Five years in private weed research is another phase of Paddock's experience. To study the newer methods in nursery work, he has attended evening gardening classes in Santa Ana college for the greater part of three terms. He was a member of Southern California Horticultural Institute for about three and a half years also attended and taught summer classes in Field Botany, covering much of southern California plant and animal life.
