New Restaurant Being Planned Bob Dalton, owner of Bob Dalton's Steak House and successful restaurateur for the past 16 years on La Cienga's "Famous Restaurant Row," will begin construction immediately on his new restaurant in Newport Beach directly adjacent to the Lido shopping center. The new eating establishment, representing an investment in excess of one-quarter of a million dollars, will be built in the style of an English waterfront tavern. Fronting the bay, the restaurant will have completely modern boat docks for both tenant and guest yachting enthusiasts. Those who rent slip space will have at their disposal a private recreation room, boat lockers, and other facilities normally associated with a yachting club. Regular restaurant service will be available to all those who use the boat docks and wish to have their meals served aboard. According to Dalton, a total of $12,000.00 will be spent on the docks to afford those them every convenience. We Have Some Money For You... For A New Home It'S YourS For The AsKING! Phones KE 5-2158—KE 5-2159 Too Slow Drivers Cited as Hazards The driver who creeps along blocking the fast moving traffic lane has suffered another setback. California Highway Patrol Commissioner B. R. Caldwell has cited a recently concluded jury trial to emphasize the necessity for slower moving vehicles to travel in the right hand lane or as close to the right edge of the roadway as is practicable. A motorist in violation of this vehicle code provision was cited into court by a California Highway Patrol officer for traveling at speeds of from 10 to 45 miles per hour in the inside traffic lane on San Francisco's heavily traveled Bayshore Freeway. The violator demanded a jury trial, was found guilty, and was assessed a $50,00 fine. "Many drivers fail to realize that traveling too slow ranks with traveling too fast as a frequent cause of serious traffic accidents. It is the duty of any motorist to keep as far to the right as possible if he is not keeping pace with the normal flow of traffic," Caldwell said. "The action of this jury once more indicates the validity of this law and emphasizes the necessity for compliance with its provisions," he added. Teen-agers, even those who are reducing, who get from ¼ to their day's food will have a happier morning, turn out more woo-more alert, and won't tire as easily. Mothers must tempt teen-agers to eat breakfast. What teen-agers could refuse to eat the attractive 400 calorie breakfast pictured above is pretty, tastes good and follows a mended by doctors and dieticians—such as milk, bread and fruit.
