Mrs. Warren Dollar of Anaheim is ticket chairman for the annual April Showers Ball to be held on Saturday, April 23, by the Mother's Guild of Mater Del High School. It is to be held at the Santa Ana Country Club with music of Eddie Thomas and his band. Proceeds will purchase books for the school library.

The Anaheim Assistance League has purchased a new clubhouse at 1341 W. La Palma Ave., according to an announcement by Mrs. E. H. Kersten, League president. The building was formerly owned by E. P. Hapgood, a member of the Anaheim Planning commission, and will be used as a work center for the League's local charity.
Among Anaheim residents recently receive citizenship peers are Ivy Vasquez, Frederic Turner, Eduard Gentalen and Nivalidad A. Rios.

Berry St., became the parents of a 6 lb. 15 oz. baby boy in Orange County hospital on April 12.
The Rev. and Mrs. Al Casebeer of Church of Christ are the proud parents of a 9 lb. 4 oz. baby boy. The infant was born in St. Joseph hospital on April 12. The Casebeers reside at 328 W. Broadway.
April 13th was a lucky day for Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Dickenson of 8741 Bernice St. On that day they welcomed a nine-pound baby boy in Fullerton Cottage hospital.
Welcoming baby girls on April 12 were Mr. and Mrs. G. Valdez of 8102 Moraga St., and Mr. and Mrs. James Findlay of 1832 Mydrona Place.
Forty members of the Junand Senior High department First Presbyterian church spent three days of the Easter vacatat Youth Choir camp at ForHome.
