NOTICE OF FILING PETITION FOR ANNEXATION AND INCLUSION OF TERRITORY TO STANTON COUNTY WATER DISTRICT, AND OF TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING THEREON.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Secretary of the Stanton County Water District as follows:
1. That on Tuesday, April 5, 1955, a written Petition for Annexation and Inclusion within the Stanton County Water District, of certain territory contiguous thereto was filed with the Secretary of the Stanton County Water District, which petition is writted Petition for Annexation, and is signed by the following persons as purported owners of the territory therein described or some part thereof, to-wit:
Clyde Pearman and Maxine E. Pearman, State of California, Edward P. McIlavey and Rose A. MacMillan.
That the purpose of said Petition is to have included within and made a part of Stanton County Water District, all of the contiguous territory hereinafter described.
2. That the territory proposed to be annexed to and included within Stanton County Water District is tirely situated within the County of Orange, State of California, and shall be rewritten in these proceedings be known and identified as the "Katella Avenue Annexation No. 1, to Stanton County Water District," and is more particularly described as follows:
"That portion of the Northwest Quarter (NW½) of Section 25 in Township 4 South, Rutledge 11 West San Bernardino Meridian, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the Southerly boundary line of the Stanton County Water District, said point being the intersection of said boundary line with the West line of the West 5 acres of the East one-half (E½) of the North One-half (N½) of the Northwest Quarter."
3. The undersigned do hereby certify that THEY ARE conducting a AUTO PARTS AND TRANSMISSION RE-BUILDING business as Co-Partners at 275 NO. MANCHESTER, NAHEIM, California under the fictitious name of GEAR HOUSE and that said firm is composed of the following persons, whose names and places of residence are as follows, to-wit:

Stanton County Water District is entirely situated within the County of Orange, State of California, and shall hereafter in these proceedings be known and identified as the "Detroit Avenue Water District No. 1 to Stanton County Water District," and is more particularly described as follows:
"That portion of the Northwest Quarter (NW½) of Section 25 in Township 4 South, Range 11 West, San Bernardino Meridian, described as follows:
"Beginning at a point in the Southerly boundary line of the Stanton County Water District, said point being the intersection of said boundary line with the West line of the West 5 acres of the East one-half (E½) of the North One-half (N½) of the Northwest Quarter (NW½) of the Northwest Quarter (NW½) of Section 25, Township 4 South, Range 11 West, San Bernardino Meridian, and running thence southerly along the said West line to the South line of the North one-half (N½) of the North One-half (N½) of the Northwest Quarter (NW½) of the Northwest Quarter (NW½) of Section 25; thence Northerly 20 feet west Quarter (NW½) of the North-parallel with the West line of the North Half (N½) of the Northwest Quarter (NW½) of Section 25; thence Easterly along said South line to a point distant theroon 11 feet easterly of the Southwest corner of the North one-half (N½) of the Northeast Quarter (NE½) of the Northeast Quarter (NE½) of said Section 25; thence Northerly 30 feet parallel with said South line; thence Southerly 30 feet parallel with the last mentioned West line to said South line; thence Easterly along said South line to the East line of the West 2 acres in North one-half (N½) of the Northeast Quarter (NE½) of the Northwest Quarter (NW½) of said Section 25; thence Northerly along said East line to the Southwestery right-of-way line of the land conveyed to the Los Angeles Infer Urban Railway Company, you used recorded January 8, 1906, in Book 122 page 250-Of Deedn, records of Orange County, California; thence Northwesterly along said Southwesterly right-of-way line to the North line of said Section 25, also being the boundary line of said District; thence Westerly, Southerly, and Westerly along said boundary line to the point of beginning."
4. That in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 2 of Part § of Division 12 of the Water Code of the State of California, the date, time and place of the hearing of said petition by the Board of Directors of Stanton County Water District are as follows:
(a) Place of Hearing: The office of the Board of Directors of Stanton County Water District located at the Savanna School, 7791 East Cerritos Avenue, Stanton, Orange County, California.
(b) Date of Hearing: Thursday, April 28, 1955;
(c) Time of Hearing: 7:45 o'clock P.M.
5. Any and all persons interested in the proposed annexation and inclusion may appear at the office of the Board of Directors of Stanton County Water District at the time and place of hearing as set forth above and file objections in writing showing cause, if any they have, why the said territory or any part of it should not be annexed and included within the Stanton County Water District as proposed in the petition.
