Anaheim Gazette, Jan. 20, 27, 1954) NOTICE OF AWARD OF CONTRACT Pursuant to Statutes herein mentioned and Requisition of Award of Contract No. 84 of the STANTON COUNTY WATER DISTRICT, of Ormond County, California, adopted on the 18th day of January, 1955, directing this Notice: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the said Board of Directors, upon session on the 15th day of January, publicly consented, examined and declared all proposals or bids offered for doing the following described work, to-wit: The construction of vitrified clay pipe sanitary sewer, vitrified clay pipe house sewer connections, chimneys, clean-buts, tees, wye wire mashholes, manholes, supplied manholes, sewer treatment pipe, concrete enclosure and appartment work in connection therewith in Date Street and other streets and easements within the STANTON COUNTY WATER DISTRICT known as "Assessment District No. 1—Stanton County Water District." Ornamental allotments are included in Resolution of Intention No. 21 passed and adopted by the Board of Directors of said District on the 14th day of October, 1954, and on file in the office of the Secretary of said District. For further particulars, reference is hereby made in said Resolution of Intention No. 21 and to the plans, profiles and drawings on file in the office of the secretary of said STANTON COUNTY WATER DISTRICT, and to the specifications for the said work, heretofore adopted by the said Board of Directors and on file in the office of the Secretary of said District, and all of the said plans, profiles, drawings and specifications heretofore approved by the Board of Directors of said District are incorporated herein and made a part hereof, and reference in hereby made thereto for a more particular description of said work. Said Board of Directors has determined and declared that Serial Bonds hearing interest at the rate of six per cent (65) per annum and extending over period ending nine (9) years from the second day of January next succeeding the next October 31st following their date, will be issued hereunder in the manner provided by the "Improvement Act of 1911." Being Part 5, Division 7 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, to be enacted each assessment of Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00) compares remaining unpaid for thirty (30) days after the date of recording the warrant. All of the work herein ordered shall be done and carried through in pursuance of an Act of the Legislature of the State of California designated the improvement Act of 1911 being Divided II of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, as said Act is referred to and made applicable in the "County Water District Law," being Division 12 of the Water Code of the State of California. The said Board of Directors did by said Resolution of Amendal Contract No. 465 assumed the contract for the sale of said work to the lowest possible responsible bidder, to wit, to Jerry Artukovich, 723 Union Street, Montebello, California at the prices named in his bid, on file in the office of the Secretary of said District.
