"One of the special features," says Rev. Walker, "is the large choral group of children from the youth choirs of the various churches. These children are being trained by their own choir directors and at the service will fill the stage. They will sing 'Now Thank / We All Our God' and 'Hymn of Thanksgiving' which songs they have been memorizing, and will be directed by Mrs. Russell Ireland. To hear these little people sing will be worth going a lot.
The speaker of the day the Rev. Berthold Jacktor of Bethel Baptist this city.

these little people sing in chorus will be worth going a long way.
The speaker of the day will be the Rev. Berthold Jacksteit, pastor of Bethel Baptist church of this city.
His father, a Baptist minister before him, a refugee from Bolshevistic Russia in the early twenties, brought his family to the New World, like the Pilgrims, that he might not only have freedom to worship, but also the other freedoms we Americans boast about.
With the example before him, young Berthold took up the ministry, attending school at the North American Baptist Seminary, Rochester, N. Y., Westminster college and the University of Pittsburgh, Pa. After pastorates in Canada and Pennsylvania, he came to Anaheim in May, 1951, to be pastor of Bethel Baptist church.
He has taken an active part in the civic as well as religious affairs of our community, having been chosen chairman of the Religious Education Department of the Association of Christian Churches, whose main duty is to have complete charge of leased Time Religious Life of our city schools.
Besides this, and the book a new $80,000 education for his own church school, Jacksteit is a regular co-editor to the Baptist Bi-monthly magazine that dates among the church denomination throughout United States and Canada.

FIRST FIFTY MILES
That's right! Tuesday's the big day.
The first time we've ever held a national Open House—the first time we have ever invited the public to visit us in all the 57 towns and cities where we have plants.
But—what better moment to do it than the golden day our first 50 millionth GM car rolls off the assembly line.
For the arrival of that historic car marks a new milestone in American production progress. And there's no more fitting place to celebrate
