Anaheim Gazette, Oct. 28, Nov. 4, 1954) RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 21 RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE STANTON COUNTY WATER DISTRICT, ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER THE CONSTRUCTION OF SANITARY SEWERS IN ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1. STANTON COUNTY WATER DISTRICT; DECLARING THE WORK TO BE OF MORE THAN LOCAL OR ORDINARY PUBLIC BENEFIT, AND DESCRIBING THE DISTRICT TO BE BENEFITED BY SAID WORK AND TO PAY THE COSTS AND EXPENSES, AND FIXING A TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING OBJECTIONS TO SAID WORK. The Board of Directors of the STANTON COUNTY WATER DISTRICT, Orange County, California, pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 3, Part 6, Division 12 of the Water Code of the State of California, and pursuant to the provisions of the "Improvement Act of 1911", being Division 7 of the Streets and Highway Code of the State of California. DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: DESCRIPTION OF WORK SECTION 1: That the public interest and convenience require, and it is the intention of the Board of Directors of the STANTON COUNTY WATER DISTRICT, Orange County, California, to order the following work to be done, to-wit: First: The construction of vitrified clay pipe sanitary sewers, vitrified clay pipe house connection sewers, manholes, modified manhole, wyes, and appurtenant work in connection therewith; in DATE STREET between existing manhole on Katella Avenue and a point 993 feet northerly thereof as shown on Sheet 2 of said plans hereafter Second: The construction of vitrified clay pipe sanitary sewers, vitrified clay pipe house connection sewers, manholes, modified manhole, cleanout, wyes, and appurtenant work in connection therewith; in OAK STREET between the existing manhole on Katella Avenue and a point 1180 feet northerly thereof as shown on Sheet 2 of said plans. Third: The construction of vitrified clay pipe sanitary sewers, vitrified clay pipe house connection sewers, manholes, modified manhole, cleanout, sewer encasement pipe, concrete encasement, wyes, and appurtenant work in connection therewith; in STARR STREET between the existing manhole on Stanton Avenue and a point 1253 feet easterly thereof as shown upon Sheet 11 of said plans. Fourth: The construction of vitrified clay pipe sanitary sewers, vitrified clay pipe house connection sewers, modified manholes, cleanout, and appurtenant work in connection therewith; in MAIN STREET between the existing manhole on Rose Street and a point 120 feet easterly thereof as shown upon Sheet 14 of said plans. Fifth: The construction of vitrified clay pipe sanitary sewers, vitrified clay pipe house connection sewers, manholes, drop-manhole, wyes, and appurtenant work in connection therewith; in FLOWER STREET between a point 12 feet northerly of the center line of Katella Avenue and a point 907 feet northerly thereof as shown upon Sheet 3 of said plans; and in STANTON AVENUE along the westerly side of Stanton Avenue between a point 12 feet northerly of the center line of Katella Avenue and a point 895 feet northerly thereof as shown upon Sheet 4 of said plans and in COURT STREET between a point 8 feet northerly of the center line of Katella Avenue and the center line of Chester Avenue as shown upon Sheet 6 of said plans; and in Sixth: The construction of vitrified clay pipe sanitary sewers, vitrified clay pipe house connection sewers, manholes, drop manholes, cleanout, wyes and appurtenant work in connection therewith; in STANTON AVENUE along the westerly side of Stanton Avenue between the center line of Pacific Street and a point 107 feet southerly of the center line of Pacific Street and a point 107 feet southerly of the center line of Cerritos Avenue as shown upon Sheet 4 of said plans; and in STANTON AVENUE along the easterly side of Stanton Avenue between the center line of Pacific Street and a point 107 feet southerly of the center line of Cerritos Avenue as shown upon Sheet 4 of said plans; and in FLOWER STREET between the southerly right-corner line of Pacific Street and a point 107 feet southerly of the center line of Cerritos Avenue as shown upon Sheet 4 of said plans; Seventh: The construction vitrified clay pipe sanitary sewers, vitrified clay pipe house connection sewers, manholes, cleanout wyes, and appurtenant work in connection therewith; in CHESTNUT STREET between a point 8 feet northerly of the center line of Katella Avenue and a point 420 feet northerly thereof as shown upon Sheet 5 of said plans; and in FERN STREET between the center line of Pacific Street and a point 208 feet southerly of the center line of Cerritos Avenue as shown upon Sheet 8 of said plans; and in SYCAMORE STREET between the center line of Pacific Street and a point 107 feet southerly of the center line of Cerritos Avenue as shown upon Sheet 8 of said plans; and in SECOND STREET between the existing manhole on Stanton Avenue and a point 895 feet westerly thereof, as shown TON COUNTY WATER DISTRICT, Orange County, California, to order the following work to be done, to-wit: First: The construction of vitrified clay pipe sanitary sewers, vitrified clay pipe house connection sewers, manholes, modified manhole, wyes, and appurtenant work in connection therewith; in DATE STREET between existing manhole on Katella Avenue and a point 993 feet northerly thereof as shown on Sheet 2 of said plans hereafter referred to; and in CEDAR STREET between the existing manhole on Katella Avenue and a point 1244 feet northerly thereof as shown NIXON'S "get acquainted" FAMILY Restaurant 1540 E. Eleventh: The construction of vitrified clay pipe sanitary sewers, vitrified clay pipe house connection sewers, manholes, clean-out, and appurtenant work in connection therewith; FIRST STREET: Between the existing manhole on Stanton Avenue and a point 813 feet westherly thereof as shown upon Sheet 6 of said plans. Twelfth: The construction of vitrified clay pipe sanitary sewers, vitrified clay pipe house connection sewers, manholes, drop-manholes, clean-out, sewer pipe encasement, and appurtenant work in connection therewith; KATELLA AVENUE: Between the existing manhole on Rose Avenue and a point 242 feet eastherly of the westerly right-of-line of Court Street as shown upon Sheet 13 of said plans. TEY WATER DISTRICT: Consisting of 15 sheets, on file in the office of the Secretary of said District and except as otherwise provided on said plans, in further accordance with the specifications for the construction of said improvement. SECTION 3. That the said contractor templated work and improvement in the opinion of the said Board of Directors is of more than local or ordinary public benefit, and that the Board of Directors hereby makes the expenses of the said work and improvement chargeable upon a district, which said district the said Board of Directors hereby declares to be the district benefited by said work and in provision and to be assessed by pay the costs and expenses thereof and which district is described follows: All that certain territory on the STANTON COUNTY WATER DISTRICT, Orange County, California, included within the exterior boundary lines shown on Sheet No. 1 of said plans heretofore proved by the Board of Directors of said District on the 14th day of October, 1954, indicating by said boundary line the extent of the territory included within the proposed assessment district, and which map or plat is on file in the office of the Secretary of said District, EXCEPTING from the area shown within and delineated on said map or plat, hereinabove referred to, the area of all public streets, avenues, lanes, roads, drives, courts, places, public parks and all easements and rights of way therein contained belonging to the public, including alleys, now in use in the performance of a public works contract. FERN STREET in the center line of Pacific and a point 208 feet south-the center line of Cerritos as shown upon Sheet 9 of plans; and in YCAMORE STREET in the center line of Pacific and a point 107 feet south-the center line of Cerritos as shown upon Sheet 8 of plans; and in SECOND STREET the existing manhole on Avenue and a point 896 steller thereof, as shown upon Sheet 12 of said plans. The construction of clay pipe sanitary sewers, clay pipe house connection manholes, wyes and appurtenant work in connection therewith: in KATELLA AVENUE between the existing manhole on Rose Avenue and a point 242 feet easterly of the westerly right-of-way line of Court Street as shown upon Sheet 10 of said plans. Thirteenth: The construction of vitrified clay pipe sanitary sewers, vitrified clay pipe house connection sewers, manholes, chimneys. Twelfth: The construction of vitrified clay pipe sanitary sewers, vitrified clay pipe house connection sewers, manholes, drop-manhole, clean-out, sewer pipe encasement, and appurtenant work in connection therewith: in Seventeenth: The construction of vitrified clay pipe sanitary sewers, manholes, and appurtenant work in connection therewith: in COURT STREET between the center line of Pacific Street to the east and west as shown upon Sheet 13 of said plans. Eighteenth: The construction of vitrified clay pipe sanitary sewers, vitrified clay pipe house connection sewers, manholes cleanup, and appurtenant work in connection therewith: in MAIN STREET between a point 167 feet easterly of the center line of Chestnut Street and a point 162 feet westerly of the center line of Chestnut Street as shown upon Sheet 14 of said plans; and in CENTRAL AVENUE between the center line of Cedar Street and a point 120 feet westerly thereof as shown upon Sheet 14 of said plans. That the said contended work and improvement opinion of the said Board directors, is of more than local public benefit, and the Board of Directors hereby the expenses of the said and improvement chargeable to a district, which said district the said Board of Directors declares to be the district dated by said work and immered and to be assessed to the costs and expenses thereof, which district is described as that certain territory of STANTON COUNTY WATER DISTRICT, Orange County, Cali-included within the exteri-inary lines shown on Sheet of said plans heretofore ap-ly by the Board of Directors District on the 14th day of r., 1954, indicating by said entry line the extent of the work included within the pro-assessment district, and map or plat is on file in the of the Secretary of said district. SECTION 5: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 16th day of November, 1954, at the hour of eight o'clock P.M., (8:00 P.M.) in the regular meeting place of the Board of Directors of said district at Savanna School, 7791 East Cerritos Avenue, Stanton, Orange County, California, any and all persons having any objections to the proposed work or improvement, or to the extent of the assessment district, or to the proposed grades, may appear and show cause why work should not be done or carried out in accordance with this Resolution of Intention. Protests must be in writing and must be delivered to the Secretary prior to the time set for the hearing. IMPROVEMENT ACT. SECTION 8: That all of the work herein proposed shall be done and carried through in pursuance of an Act of the Legislature of the State of California, designated as the "Improvement Act of 1911," being Division 7 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, as said Act is referred to and made applicable in the "County Water District Law," being Division 12 of the Water Code of the State of California. PUBLICATION OF RESOLUTION OF INTENTION SECTION 7: That the "ANAHEIM GAZETTE", a weekly newspaper, printed, published and of general circulation in the County of Orange, State of California, is hereby designated as the newspaper in which this Resolution of Intention shall be published by the Secretary, in the manner and form provided by law, and for making all other publications of the proceedings under this Resolution of Intention.
