The board approved payment for tape recordings of memorable talks at the National convention to be available to Mariners for meetings or home use. FRIEND-SHIP GROUP PICNIC The Friend-Ship group of the Presbyterian Mariners' Club held a beach picnic last night, Aug. 11 at Corona Del Mar. Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Mitchell were skippers, assisted by Mr. and Mrs. John Neymeyer. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Edwards and daughter, Connie Jo, are currently vacationing in Wyoming where they plan to combine a fishing trip with a visit with old friends in their former home town.
