Denney of 11252 Ball Rd., has claimed as his bride Miss Mildred F. Petersen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. Merrill Nichols of Placentia. The Rev. John Walker recently performed the double ring ceremony in the Placentia Presbyterian church. Miss Petersen wore a traditional gown of Chantilly lace and tulle over pink satin, and a full veil of illusion net. Her bouquet was orchids and lily of the valley. She chose a former classmate at UCLA as maid of honor, Claire Wyckoff, who wore cyclamen tule over taffeta and carried a bouquet of Duchess roses. Wearing matching gowns in shades of orchid, rose and cyclamen were bridesmaids Misses Mary Lou Hartsough, Patricia Krieger and Barbara Decker. The bridegroom's brothers, John and Eugene, were ushers with brother Earl also as best man. Candlelighters were Dale Denney and Dickie Bentley, the bridegroom's nephews. Flower girls Pattl Fiedler and Charlotte Denney, the latter, the bridegroom's niece. The church social hall was decorated with baskets of white and lavender flowers, ribbons and wedding bells, for the wedding reception. Serving refreshments were Mrs. Harold Baker of Anaheim, Mrs. Fred Lewis and Mrs. Leslie Graham of Placentia. Pouring were the bridegroom's aunts, Mrs. Earl Denney and Mrs. Lettle Myatt of Anaheim, Miss Reba McCrea of Los Angeles and Mrs. Wayne Parker of Fallbrook. The bridegroom's sister-in-law, Mrs. Earl L. Denney of Anaheim, was in charge of the guest book. The newlyweds will live in Baldwin Park where the bride will teach this fall. Wm. Denny Weds Mildred Peterson William Dale Denney, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Denney of 11252 Ball Rd., took as his bride Miss Mildred F. Petersen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. Merrill Nichols of 141 Primrose Ave., Placentia, in recent ceremonies in the Placentia Presbyterian church. The newlyweds are expected to return from a northern California honeymoon this week-end and will make their first home in Baldwin Park. CATROS SELL HOME Mr. and Mrs. Glen Casto have sold their home at 1432 Wedgwood Drive to the Charles Panniers of Anaheim and will be moving to 231 Evelyn Drive. George Weinberger George R. Weinberger, 24, of 8501 Chapman, a native of Missouri and California resident 12 years, and who at present was living at 8501 Chapman ave., died Friday evening at the Orange County General hospital after a brief illness. He is survived by his wife, Hazel L. Weinberger; one son, Randy R. Weinberger; one daughter, Debra E. Weinberger; parents, Mr. and Mrs. George I. Weinberger of Garden Grove and maternal grandmother, Mrs. D. C. Tarrant of Michigan. He was affiliated with the Jehovah Witnesses and was a member of the Painters Local No. 686 of Santa Ana. ROYERS CALLED TO BERKELEY BY DEATH Mr. and Mrs. Vearl Royer of 617 S. Dickel St., were called to Berkeley, Calif., last Tuesday by the tragic death of Mrs. Royer's brother, William L. His wife, Florence, was hospitalized with serious injuries.
