Peterson-Denny Wedding Rites
William Dale Denney, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas L. Denney of 11252 Ball Rd., has claimed as his bride Miss Mildred F. Petersen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. Merrill Nichols of Placentia. The Rev. John Walker recently performed the double ring ceremony in the Placentia Presbyterian church.
Miss Petersen wore a traditional gown of Chantilly lace and tulle over pink satin, and a full veil of illusion net. Her bouquet was orchids and lily of the valley.

The bridegroom's brothers, John and Eugene, were ushers with brother Earl also as best man. Candlelighters were Dale Denney and Dickie Bentley, the bridegroom's nephews. Flower girls Pattl Fiedler and Charlotte Denney, the latter, the bridegroom's niece.
The church social hall was decorated with baskets of white and lavender flowers, ribbons and wedding bells, for the wedding reception.
Serving refreshments were Mrs. Harold Baker of Anaheim, Mrs. Fred Lewis and Mrs. Leslie Graham of Placentia. Pouring were the bridegroom's aunts, Mrs. Earl Denney and Mrs. Lettle Myatt of Anaheim, Miss Reba McCrea of Los Angeles and Mrs. Wayne Parker of Fallbrook. The bridegroom's sister-in-law, Mrs. Earl L. Denney of Anaheim, was in charge of the guest book.
