SUMMER MUSIC SCHOOL STARTS
A six weeks summer school of music started yesterday, June 30, at the AUHS auditorium as a part of the City Recreation program with Bill Cook, instructor. One hour classes will be taught daily Monday through Friday at 8:00 a.m. until 12 noon, in brass woodwind, string and percussion instruments.

Home made ice cream and delicious varieties of home made cake will be offered for sale at 25 cents per serving on Wednesday night, July 7, at White Temple Methodist church. The annual family style ice cream social will assist 75 of the youth group to attend camp this summer.
Thursday, July 1, is Bike Day at the City Park. Competitions are open to children of all ages with two or three wheeled bikes. Many awards will be made.
At ten o'clock Friday morning July 2, uniforms will be awarded members of the City Recreation Department juvenile league base ball teams at the Fox Theater As a feature of Sponsor's Day movies will also be shown.
