Sunday 9 A.M. to 7 ANAHEIM'S SAVING Guild System Slides Shown Zion Women Items on the program of the Zion Lutheran Women's League meeting last Thursday emphasized stewardship. Mrs. Walter Scharnwebber showed slides describing a most efficient guild system of women's work in the church. The Rev. E. H. Pflug spoke on stewardship in dedicating the entire life of Jesus Christ. The league gave final approval to the new constitution and bylaws. Convention reports were given by Mrs. Elroy Oldenburg, Mrs. Walter Knigge, Mrs. Ed Clasen, Mrs. O. C. Ulrich and Mrs. E. H. Kersten. Devotions were conducted by Mrs. A. H. Koch. Roses and sweet peas decorated the parish hall meeting place and tea hostesses were Mrs. Ruben Jarmon, Mrs. Vlc Jacobsen, Mrs. Hal Johnsen and Mrs. Walter Henning. Tau Chapter Elects; Coming Plans Made Marilyn Mason is the new president of Tau Chapter, Beta Sigma Phi. Elections were held when the group met recently at the Lakewood home of Joan Lewis. Other members elected to the official board were Jeannette Curl, vice-president; June Mauerhan, recording secretary; Barbara Mensee, corresponding secretary; Barbara Bartlett, treasurer; Kay Fancher, sponsor; and Irene Holland, director. Jean Stull is to be extension chairman; Mado Mauerman, historian; Joan Lewis, program chairman; Peggy Martin, social chairman; Saran Green, publicity. Next year's program plans were made. An informative demonstration of voice training occupied the remainder of the evening.
