Wedding Rites
In St. Boniface
Miss Joanne Carter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert E. Carter of 505 S. Indiana street, came the bride of Nicholas Joan Monti, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Monti of Custer City Pa., in St. Boniface Catholic church on Saturday, May 8th. Rev. Michael Casey was office at the mutual mass.
The bride was beautiful in a traditional gown of white satin marquisette. A pearled Juliet held in place a shoulder length veil. As she escorted to altar by her father, she carried nosegay of white wedding flowers.
Mrs. Richard Ramon Tozer sed her sister as matron of house Bridesmaids were Mrs. Richie Lee Martin and Mrs. John D. Cushing. These attendants were matching gowns of ankle-length taffeta and net in shades of pink, yellow, and lime, respectively. Eahh wore a wreath of gold nations and daried a nosegay the same flowers. Flower girl was little Janice Spykerman. She wressed in blue with wreath of nosegay of the gold carnations.
Attending the bridegroom was best man was his nephew, L. Zamberlan of Custer City. Uppers were Richard Ramon Tozer brother-in-law of the bride, John Denis Cushing.
Mrs. A. F. Faust was at organ for the wedding music accompanied soloist Miss Imogene Larson who sang several sections including the tradition Marywood bridal hymn.
The patio of the Carter house was the pretty setting for the ception which followed the ceremony. Pouring at the bride's blossom.

The regular mid-week service of Holy Communion will be held at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 7 and will be followed by a meeting of the Prayer and Study Group Tuesday evening at 6:15, the McClub will hold a dinner meeting Wednesday, May 19, the Concation of Long Beach will be held at All Saint's Church in Lost Beach, and St. Michael's members will leave the church at 5 p.m. On Saturday at 1:00 p.m., St. Elizabeth Guild will hold Dessert-Card Party in the parish hall. This Sunday, May 16, the Junior Choir will sing "Day by Day" for an introit at the 9:15 service At 11:00 a.m., the Senior Choir will sing the offertory, "Coronation Hymn," by Holden. The Ralph John K. Saville's sermon will be, "Thy Faith Hath My Thee Whole."
ENGAGEMENT
Mrs. H. F. Ohnmeiss of Cyprus has announced the engagement her daughter, Shirley Jean Klorof Anaheim, to Richard New Ralston, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chester B. Ralston of Santa Ana. The bride-elect, a senior at AUL has set June 15 as the wedding date. The ceremony will take place in the Tustin Presbyterian church.

These attendants wore shining gowns of ankle-length waist and net in shades of pink, red, and lime, respectively.
She wore a wreath of gold ramsons and darnied a nosegay of same flowers. Flower girl was Janice Spykerman. She was dressed in blue with wreath and day of the gold carnations.
Spending the bridegroom as man was his nephew, Peo Merlan of Custer City, Ushers Richard Ramon Tozier, over-in-law of the bride, and Denis Cushing.
A. F. Faust was at the patio of the Carter home the pretty setting for the reenactment which followed the cereal-pouring at the bride's maid.
