Alberta, returned home on Sunday night, May 9, from a six weeks' trip around the world. They made most of the trip by plane stopping in Hawaii, Japan, India, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Italy and France. Upon returning to this country, they stopped at Flint, Mich., to pick up a new car and then drove across the country on the last lap of their journey. They enjoyed beautiful weather en route and made the trip without mishap. It was Merrick's second trip around the world in his capacity as vice-president in the engineering department of the Fluor Corporation. Mrs. W. F. Friday of 406 W.
