Stedman-Remland Wedding Rites Unite Former Anaheim High Students A double ring ceremony on April 10 united in marriage Miss Marthan Stedman and Eldon C. Remland in an Anaheim wedding chapel. The Rev. Berthold Jacksteit, pastor of Bethel Baptist church officialized. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William E. Barker of Anaheim, and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Remland of Costa Mesa. The bride came down the aisle beautifully gowned in a ballerina length gown of nylon tulle appliqued with flowers and seed pearls. The white gown had an overtone of mist pink and a pure white fingertip veil fell from a tiara of seed pearls. A white orchid was arranged with lillies of the valley and orange blossoms on the white Bible the bride carried. Matron of honor was the bride's sister, Mrs. Richard Groff, and bridesmaids were Miss Joyce Larsen of Sunland, Mrs. Kenneth Vertrees of Anaheim, and Miss Vicki Barker, sister of the bride. Each was wearing an identical white-pink full skirted taffeta gown and lace jacket, and each carried a nosegay of flowers. The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Paul, of Modesto, and ushers were Kenneth Vertrees, Fernando Ramos and Ronald Hartman. Soloists were Miss Nancy Groff and Miss Delores Giardino with Mrs. A. F. Faust at the organ. For the reception which followed, the bride's table was centered with an exquisite tour-tiered TENTH CHILD Mr. and Mrs. Carl Karcher of wedding cake in which the newly-weds made the first cut. Assisting were Miss Linda Stevens and Miss Nancy Groff. The new Mr. and Mrs. Remland spent a honeymoon in Palm Springs and are now residing in Anaheim.
