Miss Helen Weir, whose beauty awards have included the titles of "Miss Anaheim," and "Miss Orange County," both for 1950, will become the bride of Charles Sitton at Capilla de San Antonio on June 5. Miss Weir is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James R. Weir of 10831 S. Harbor street. The bridegroom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Sitton of Santa Ana. Miss Weir, a former professional model, is a graduate of AUHS and Santa Ana Junior college. She is employed in the purchasing department of the Kwikset Lock Company. Her fiance is a graduate of Santa Ana high school and of Santa Ana Junior college where he was football captain in 1951. He is a deputy jailer at the Orange County jail, and is presently under consideration by several professional football teams. Bonnie Strickroth, chairman of the Easter party for the patients of the Orange County hospital, reported that baskets have been made. She asked for volunteers to make cookies and color eggs. Approximately 300 baskets are to be filled. Members wishing to help were asked to contact her, or register at the April 5 meeting.
