McCarthy, also of Anaheim, in an evening ceremony on December 12 in White Temple Methodist church. The Rev. Frank E. Butterworth officiated. In the sanctuary decorated with bronze-toned chrysanthemums, the bride was attended by her daughter, Mrs. J. H. Hilbers, as matron of honor. Mrs. Hilbers was gowned in blue taffeta and wore white orchid at the waist. The bridegroom was attended by his brother, George McCarthy. Ushers were Julius H. Hilbers, the bride's son-in-law; and George McCarthy, Jr., nephew of the groom. At the organ was Betty Fackliner Rees, and soloist was William Fackliner.
