Library Hours According to librarian Miss Martha Mattler, Anselm Library will close at 6 p.m. on Saturday beginning Dec. 5. Placentia ave., was hostess recently to a sewing group, members of Native Daughters of the Golden West, Grace Parlor. During the morning, finishing touches were put on 21 bed jackets made by members during the past year. These were then wrapped as Christmas gifts to be taken to the womens' wards of the Orange County hospital on the Wednesday before Christmas. The A. B. KE 52409 ANAHEIM Riner-McCarthy Wedding Rites Wearing a ballerina length gown of rose lace accented with a corsage of orchids, Mrs. Vera L. Riner of Anaheim became the bride of Arthur E. McCarthy, also of Anaheim, in an evening ceremony on December 12 in White Temple Methodist church. The Rev. Frank E. Butterworth officiated. In the sanctuary decorated with bronze-toned chrysanthemums, the bride was attended by her daughter, Mrs. J. H. Hilbers, as matron of honor. Mrs. Hilbers was gowned in blue taffeta and wore white orchid at the waist. The bridegroom was attended by his brother, George McCarthy. Ushers were Julius H. Hilbers, the bride's son-in-law; and George McCarthy, Jr., nephew of the groom. At the organ was Betty Fackliner Rees, and soloist was William Fackliner. Two hundred guests signed the guest book at the reception which followed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Earle Woodward, 330 S.
