Your electric meter is today's biggest "bargain counter"
If we know how many hours a day your family spends enjoying television, we could tell you how long it takes to spend a dollar for that purpose. One cent's worth of electricity operates your set for about one hour—so you won't have spent that dollar until you have seen one hundred hours of programs. In most families, that means several weeks of entertainment.
This is an example of the low cost of your electric service. All the electricity used in your home costs only pennies per day.

You have your own private WASHD when you buy an AUTOMATIC GAS CLOTHES
Only gas drives clothes so fast
Only gas
dries clothes so fast
—costs so little to run
You laugh at the weather when you own an automatic gas clothes dryer because it enables you to wash clothes day or night, rain or shine. Your clothes always dry soft and fluffy, too—never stiff and harsh. There's less wear on your clothes...no sun-fading...no wind-strayed hems.
There's also less wear on you because an automatic gas clothes dryer takes all the drudgery out of clothes drying. Your work is reduced to tossing rinsed laundry into your dryer, setting the control for storage-dry or ironing-damp and removing the dried laundry minutes later. Many pieces, like towels, are so wrinkle-free they require no ironing.
Visit a dealer or your Gas Company. Select your automatic gas clothes dryer now.
Listen on an automatic GAS clothes dryer because gas outsells other types here for 2 very important reasons:
1. Gas dries clothes faster than any other fuel—faster even than sunshine.
2. Gas costs so little—dries clothes for less than 24 per dryer-full.
3. Automatic gas clothes dryers cost less installed—cost less in the long run, too.
