A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Victor Encinas of 9342 W. Katella ave., on Monday. The infant weighed 7 lbs., 13 oz. when she arrived in Orange County hospital. Congratulations are in order for Mr. and Mrs. Richard Winder, 1026 Tenth st. They became the parents of a 7 lb., 12 oz. son in Orange County hospital on Tuesday. Knapp, 56, a native of Sarrie, Canada, resident of Anaheim since a child and over 50 years in this area, died suddenly Nov. 12 while working on his anch at 11171 West street. Allen Knapp, Garden Grove and Elmer C. Knapp of Anaheim; also one grandson, Robert Curran of Orange. He was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren church of Anaheim. Rev. Aldrich, and U.S. High Commissioner for Germany, Dr. James B. Conant, when they visited Berlin last month. The guard from the 6th Infantry Regiment's Company L participated in a review and then stood watch over the Berlin headquarters during an important conference. Private Skaggs, a rifleman, arrived overseas this September after completing basic training at Camp Roberts, Calif. He entered the Army in March.
