Sorority Meets In Anaheim Home The Misses Mildred and Anna Claire Mauerhan of Katella ave., entertained members of Xi-Gamma Epsilon Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi recently when the group met in their home to pursue the study program, "The Road We Take." Helen Cohn presided at the meeting and Mrs. Walter Gooden described her trip to the Holy lands with the aid of colored slides. Each member was presented with a porcelain keepsake bearing a picture of Queen Elizabeth II by Mrs. Julius Krogen who just returned from a three-months tour of Europe and visit to Norway. Plans were made for a November 23 dinner meeting at La Fonda in Santa Ana and reservations may be made with Helen Cohn. Boy, Girl Born Friday the 13th Two Anaheim babies claim Friday, the 13th, for their birthday. It was a lucky day for Mr. and Mrs. William Stevens of 222 S. Ash st., who welcomed a 6 lb. 12 oz. son in St. Joseph hospital on that day. Lucky too, were Mr. and Mrs. Warren Tait of 20402 Highway 18, who made the acquaintance of a baby girl last Friday.
