Chairman will be Bonnie Jolissaint assisted by Blanche Hudson, Darlene Mathews, Agnes Strickroth and Kay Riley. Junior Ebell Is Hospitality Tea Host Club The Junior Ebell society hostessed the Hospitality tea for newcomers to Anaheim given on Saturday afternoon at the Dorothy Wade Dinner House according to Mrs. Vera Auest, general chairman. Mrs. George Fowler and Mrs. William Hunstock, representing the society, were on hand to welcome the guests as they arrived. Among those signing the guest register were Mrs. B. Joul, Mrs. Ruth Masterr, Mrs. Joanna Naughton, Mrs. C. R. Holliday, Mrs. Pearl Henkel, Mrs. Ann Sparks, Mrs. G. H. Kennedy and Mrs. Alice Cadarette. Dessert was served as a courtesy of the Dorothy Wade Dinner House. Table favors, gifts, and prizes were given by members of the Retail Division of Chamber of Commerce, the organization which sponsors the tea series. Following a short business meeting, there will be cards and refreshments. A reception honoring the Grand First Vice-President, Helen Krom of Corpus Christi Institute, Fullerton, will be held in the Fullerton Ebell clubhouse on November 18. The time of the buffet supper is 7:30 and members are urged to send reservations to Margaret Black, KE 5-6941, immediately. The public is invited to attend the benefit card party in St. Boniface church hall on Thursday, November 19, at 8 p.m. General chairman is Maxine Pitcher, and tickets may be obtained from Anne Treanor, KE 5-5274. Tickets may also be purchased at the door. Donation is .50 per corner and proceeds will go toward the Senior Seminary purse. The Cord Rosary meeting will be held in the home of Blanche Hudson, 844 N. Resh st., Friday, November 20, at 8 p.m.: All members are invited to attend to learn how to make these Rosaries which are sent to Missions overseas. Reservations for the annual YLI breakfast at the Biltmore hotel, November 29, are to be made with Lorraine Revell, KE 5-6791. His Eminence James Francis Cardinal McIntyre will be the celebrant of the Mass which will take place in the Immaculate Conception Church, 9th and Green sts., Los Angeles, at 9 a.m. Father Walter J. Tappe, Grand Chaplain of YLI will be the guest speaker at breakfast. The Golden Jubilee Purse and the Junior Seminary gift will be presented to the Cardinal at the breakfast. Anaheim home-makers who have moved to this city during September or previous to that time and who have not received an invitation to a Hospitality Tea are asked to call Mrs. Wilke at the Chamber of Commerce office. Franklin PTA Nets 465 Members in Recent Drive The results of the Benjamin Franklin school PTA membership drive show 465 members to date with teachers participation 100%. Chairman Mrs. W. A. Hutton made this announcement at a board meeting held last week in the home of Mrs. Ross Dean. She said the winning room was Miss Clark's morning kindergarten. A party and hand-painted picture was the prize. President Mrs. Kenyon Dawson introduced the following new board members: Mrs. Don Dempster, room treat; Mrs. R. L. Beck, art and decoration; Mrs. Max Rubin, magazines;; Mrs. W. A. Hutton, membership. Other business included a report of the successful dinner given recently, the announcement that parents had requested another grease drive, the report that 123 children have received inoculations, and the congratulating of Mrs. Avon Carlson on the program year books which she presented at the meeting. The auditorium will be furnished with new draperies by December first according to principal Wilbert Bonney. Harvest Card Harvest Card Party Held by A. B. Paul Group More than fifty members and friends of the A. B. Paul Relief Corps enjoyed a harvest card party last week at the IOOF hall. A dessert luncheon preceded an afternoon of various games with many table prizes and door prizes given out. It was a most successful affair according to Alice Robert, senior vice-president, who presided in the absence of president Mary Fordyce. During a short business meeting plans were made for the trip to be made to the Corona Naval hospital today, and for the trip to Arlington Girlstown scheduled for later in the month. Announcement was made that inspection will be held on Nov. 17, and that the next regular meeting will be at the home of Mrs. Lilly Lopez, 627 No. Zion st., on Nov. 19.
