Nicholas South and SONS "Better Homes for Better Living" was the topic under discussion when the Anaheim Home Department met on Tuesday at the home of Mrs. E. Ray Long, 9731 Nutwood Ave. County Home advisor, Marion Prentiss, initiated the better home series by giving a general talk on the requirements for a good home. The guest speaker for the afternoon session was Mrs. Adolph Koch of Fullerton who told of her experiences among the Indians of Arizona. The new cookbook, "Favorite Cookie Recipes," which has been compiled by the Anaheim Home Department was displayed by club President Mrs. Jesse Anderson, who presided at the business session. Mention was made of the annual convention of the California Farm Bureau slated for San Jose from November 8 through 12. Among those planning to attend from Anaheim are Mr. and Mrs. Howard Pannier, Mr. and Mrs. James Alderson, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Mauerhan, Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Mauerhan, Mrs. Ina Gathes, Mrs. M. I. Bush and Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Anderson. Mrs. E. K. Burdick will represent the women of Orange County Farm Bureaus at the state meeting. Featured at the noon luncheon were sweet potato balls, special concoctions for holiday meals. Luncheon chairman was Margarethe Kelly assisted by Minnie Early and Agnes Grizzle. Lemon ECONOMICAL HOME LOANS Mrs. Frances Neth Dies in Her Home Frances Lee Neth, 85, a native of Martinsburg, Mo., who came to Anaheim 12 years ago after having lived in Los Angeles for many years, died Oct. 20 at the family home. 110 N. Resh St. after an extended illness. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Gustav A. Neth; one brother, George S. Leachman of Dallas, Texas; eight nieces and nephews three of whom live in California; Mrs. Drury V. Halight of San Fernando; Mrs. Charles E Anderson of S. Pasadena and Mrs. Lowe Darrow of Pasadena. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist church. Funeral services were conducted from the Hilgenfeld chapel Saturday, Rev. Berthold Jacksteit, pastor of Bethel church, officiated and burial followed in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. S. Pasadena DAR To Visit Anaheim 'Colony House' Las Flores chapter. DAR of South Pasadena, will visit the "Mother Colony House," historical landmark in Anaheim on Tuesday, Nov. 3. A picnic lunch will be held in City Park at noon, preceding the tour. Hostesses for the lunch will be Mrs. F. C. Ebert, assisted by Mmes. Herbert Myott and J G. Goodsell. A short business meeting will follow, presided over by Mrs. G. B. Pritchard III, regent. Mrs. J.
