Named to offices with him were Don Blagg of Ojal, vice-president; Yvonne Miller of Fullerton, a Marywood High school graduate, secretary; and Ron Mankin of Whittier, treasurer. The latter defeated Bob Owston of Anaheim for the office. At AUHS, Frank was a member of Hi-Y, Toastmasters, Commercial club, Colonist Knights and the Varsity club. He played leading roles in several musical productions and appeared in Christmas plays and assemblies.
