"Thine Alone," and "The Lord's Prayer."
Reception Failowe
More than two hundred relatives and friends were invited to attend the reception held in the garden of the Mitttman home. The bride's aunt, Mrs. Charlotte Wolfe, flew in from Chicago especially to attend the ceremonies.
The bride's table was arranged in the lovely out door setting and was decorated in a green and white motif. The bridal couple shared the first piece of cake cut from a traditional many tiered wedding confection.
Assisting with the serving were Mrs. Kenneth Morrison of Santa Ana, Mrs. Arthur Mabs of Anaheim, Mrs. Elmer Dymmel of Los Angeles and Mrs. Robert Schostag, sister-in-law of the bridegroom. Miss Vella Pellum was in charge of the guest book and Mrs. Allen Odenbeck was in charge of gifts.
As they stood in the receiving line, mothers of the bridal pair wore corsages of pink shattered carnations. Mrs. Mitttman wore an afternoon dress of dusty rose chiffon and lace while Mrs. Schostag chose a gown of blue chiffon lace.
Following the picturesque reception, the new Mr. and Mrs. Schostag departed for Lake Tahoe. Mrs. Schostag's travelling ensemble was a suit of grey-blue with white accessories and the orchids from her bridal bouquet were pinned to the suit lapel.
