D. Plato are two specimens of the vegetables mentioned which weigh six and eight pounds respectively, and each measures 29 inches in circumference. Mr. J. H. Fruit of Santa Ana, was in town yesterday. He reports Santa Ana to be in a healthy condition and somewhat exercised in regard to the constitutional convention.
